Everyone, both big and small needs good COVID-19 defense, which everyone and their grandma knows is a high-quality surgical mask. Of course, kids are a little smaller in frame than adults, so it begs the question. "How should kids wear face masks?"
A surgical mask, no matter how high quality, only works when it's worn properly. This is easier said than done if you're using a regular sized kids mask. Luckily, an adult-sized mask can be refitted to fit on a smaller face.
First, slide the mask onto your face normally, but hold up both of the loops with a finger. Then, carefully twist both fingers in a circular motion 10 times to create tension so the mask is tight and secure (Consult the video for an example of the technique). Next, slide the loop at the end of each elastic over each ear. Finally, press the top of the mask down around the nose so it’s tight and secure.
If there are areas of the mask where air could leak in from the sides, carefully tuck them under the looped elastic to ensure the mask is on properly. Easy peasy, but it is a little more work than normal. And with many kids, wearing a mask is a chore in itself.
Luckily, Armbrust USA has taken the guesswork out of kids wearing surgical masks by making smaller masks just for them. These masks are just as effective at blocking out COVID-19, because they are just smaller versions of its surgical masks.
Like all its masks, these masks are FDA-listed and carry ASTM Level three certification. This means they block out everything down to 0.1 microns. This defends against COVID-19, with room to spare.
Kid sized masks can by ordered and delivered directly to your door, in boxes of 50, 200, 500, and 2,000. To learn more about how should kids wear face masks, visit Armbrust USA.
