About
Delmarva Heart opened its doors in February of 1999 with Drs. Jeffrey Etherton and Joseph Cinderella . Our goal was ambitious but simple – to provide the highest quality of cardiac care in the area, while maintaining our sense of compassion and caring as the practice grew. We worked out of a small rented office during those initial months. In May, 1999, we were joined by Dr. Steven Hearne, and moved to our current location on Milford Street. In August of 1999, Dr. M. Greg Treuth joined the practice. Shortly afterward we expanded our Milford Street location, and also opened a smaller satellite office in Berlin, Maryland. In July 2003 Dr. Christian Bounds joined the practice, followed by Dr. Stephen Keim in April 2004.
We each have privileges at Peninsula Regional Medical Center and Atlantic General Hospital. Our nurse practitioner colleagues Elizabeth Guy, Penny Johnson, Kim Keosian, Angela Korb, Bradley Helmuth, and Sara Grosky complete our services providing outpatient care at both sites. Our research department offers our patients participation in cutting edge cardiac pharmaceutical and medical device developments. Although we each have different interests and backgrounds, we all share a common vision – to continue to strive to keep our practice the best it can be by providing the highest quality of all aspects of advanced cardiac care. We look forward to may more years of serving our patients on the Delmarva Peninsula.
