Rep. William J. Carson Jr. is a member of the Delaware House of Representatives for the 28th District, which includes portions of Smyrna, Leipsic, Little Creek and Dover. He is a lifelong resident of Smyrna and was elected to represent the 28th district in 2007. He is chair of the Agriculture Committee, and vice-chair of both the Manufactured Housing Committee and the Transportation, Land Use and Infrastructure Committee. He is also a member of the Corrections, Natural Resources, Public Safety & Homeland Security, and Veterans Affairs committees. Rep. Carson retired from the Town of Middletown and from the Department of Transportation. He graduated from Smyrna High School.
