Maryland Relay was established in 1991 to serve Marylanders who have difficulty using a standard telephone. We provide a vast array of solutions to meet the diverse needs of our State, including: Calling Options If you, or a loved one, is Deaf, hard of hearing, late-deafened, Deaf-Blind, or has cognitive, mobility or speech difficulty, Maryland Relay offers many free calling options that enable you to make and receive calls. Learn more about our Relay services. Free Telecommunications Equipment Maryland Relay provides free special telephones to qualified Marylanders. Free training may also be available.
